Kydon The Heart City Hotel

I loved the location. It really is located in the heart of the city, Close to the bus terminal and old town which are within walking distance. Beaches are close by and can be reached by foot or local bus. I went to Golden beach by taking bus 21. The breakfast was outstanding. Great fruit options as well as many wonderful options to choose from. Something for everyone. I loved the comfortable beds and cleanliness of the place. There was a lot of space in the hotel to relax in. My room was quiet. The room was a bit small but this a minor detail. Elevators are a nice touch for the weary traveller. I loved the helpful staff. I liked that a free drink was offered even though I didn’t take advantage of the generous offer. I was too much on the go to get a drink. Overall, loved the brightly lit hotel at the entrance which created a welcoming ambience. I liked that I had a balcony so I could hang my wet clothes out. You can take a local bus to beaches or the ferry. You can take bus 13 to the ferry, you can buy bus tickets on the bus but they are less expensive if you buy them at the kiosk which is close by. The city buses are close by and easily reachable on foot. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

You really can’t fault this hotel. The team went above and beyond to make our seven-day stay incredibly pleasant. It’s centrally located—close to all amenities and just a short walk to both the old town and the bus terminal. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. But the true standout was the staff. They greeted us warmly each day and consistently ensured we had everything we needed. A truly memorable stay—highly recommended

very close to the old town so very convenient location. breakfast had a nice selection and family room was spacious. the staff was very nice too. if you’re visiting Chania old town a stay here is convenient.

During our 3-day stay at Kydon Hotel, we found nothing to dislike. In fact, it was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at in Crete. The location is excellent, with convenient parking facilities. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout our stay. Speaking of the staff, a special thank you goes to Kiki. She consistently went above and beyond our expectations. Her fantastic French and her invaluable advice on the best beaches to visit in Chania made our trip even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything was always spotless. Overall, we had an amazing experience and highly recommend Kydon Hotel to anyone visiting Crete.
